Spectroscopy & Corrosion Lab.
Spectroscopy study of matter and its properties with the light, sound and particles emitted, absorbed or scattered from the sample is desired. Spectroscopy plays a very important role in research fields. Corrosion is generally defined as the loss of material due to reaction with the environment. In other words, a chemical or electrochemical reaction between a substance, usually a metal, and its environment will change the properties of the substance, which is called corrosion. Corrosion occurs in all major categories of materials including metals, ceramics, polymers and composites.
