Continued Pride for Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in the QS World University Rankings 2027

Based on the results of the 23rd edition of the QS World University Rankings in 2027, Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), with a global rank of **483**, has been listed among the **11 top Iranian universities** included in this ranking system and has consolidated its position as the **second-highest-ranked university of technology and engineering in the country**.
The QS ranking system evaluates universities by analyzing scholarly output indexed in the **Scopus** citation database over a **five-year period**, as well as scientific citations over a **six-year period**. At the global level, the **Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)** has secured the **first position worldwide for the fifteenth consecutive year**; moreover, **Imperial College London** and **Stanford University** are jointly ranked second in this edition of the ranking.
This achievement is the result of the tireless efforts of the esteemed faculty members, researchers, and dear students of the university, and it heralds the continued upward trajectory of the country’s scientific progress in international arenas.
